I can cast to Chrome Cast but not Fire Tv Stick? help please

I recently bought a Amazon Fire tv Stick 4k, and was looking into casting my PC(desktop) to the tv stick, either web browser or whole screen mirror. I have a older Chrome cast that works fine for casting mobile apps, or browser media like YouTube and Netflix, but am having problems getting anything to cast to my fire tv stick except mobile YouTube. I've installed "Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter" from the Microsoft Store, Updated Windows, updated Graphic Drivers. In addition my PC DOES NOT have Bluetooth or WIFI only Ethernet to router, nor is Windows activated. Any info will help even if its doomed.

From my understanding in the past, you'd need to use Miracast (which the Firestick 4K supports) but that only works over Wifi. I didn't think anyone did this anymore.
