Pc fan

Hello, recentst I got a case for my second pc:oversteel irridium and I am havong trouble with turning on the fan and the rgb in the front of the Case does anyone know how to get those on?

Case fans need to be connected to the motherboard. There should be 2 wires coming out of them. One for fan control and one for RGB control. Make sure both are connected.

 

As for the front RGB, check for any unplugged front panel connectors.

I might be experienced, but I'm human and I do make mistakes. Expand for common PC building advice, a short bio and a list of my components and other tech. I edit my messages after sending them alot, please refresh before posting your reply. Common build advice: 1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

I'm a PhD student working in the fields of reinforcement learning and traffic control. well out my fan comes one cable wich has two point one should go connect to the front rgb and the other i suppose into the motherbaord but it doesnt fit. and te 3 pin led switch comes directly from next to the power button

here you go the 3 pin rgb is already connected since it came from the top next to the power button and in the front there are rgbs too

So i think there should be 4 pin fan headers called sys_fan or something similar but the 4pin fan plug looks a little different than usual, or the case comes with a proprietary fan hub, most likely in the rear if there is one

yes the 4 pin fan point is right under the 3 pin one but the problem is that there is no fan hub.

i have found that the sata cable has a extra extension that this one fits in to connect the front rgbs but then i dont know how to power them and the fan

There should be 4 pins on the motherboard though that the female 4 pin will attach to?

oke ive watched the viedeo and i stll have virtually no idea what to do to power the fan  ive seen the pins but both of those dont work 😞

Id say it might be worth contacting oversteel's customer service just to ask wtf do i do with this fan cable
