UNDER spending? if anything your overspending for gaming and VR

Should be fine

Is there a better GPU I can buy for the price of the RX 6750?

not really, but in this budget for the whole build you can get a better GPU

3. Cooler Master NR200P Max has built in PSU (Gold 80 and 850 watts more than enough) and a built in AIO (mounted to the top of the case as exhaust, negative pressure case.)

Only MAX I've seen (it's not on pcpp) is $400. Am i missing something?

get one 4tb, it'd be the same price

Is it worth trying to squeeze a couple of flim fans in the bottom of the case to act as intake? (The coolermaster case I chose is negative preassure)

What about on the side? I've got an nr200p and it has a choice of glass or mesh panel. use the mesh one and get two normal 120mm fans. Unless the 280mm rad up top doesn't allow for that, in which case mount the rad to the side and use two intakes up top, the two intakes at the bottom will be weak and focusing the GPU

probably from Amazon or Newegg).

if only those two then try this (and you can oc the memory on the 7900 gre to get some (minimal) gains)

Budget (including currency):  ~1500 USD

Country: America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (7DtD, Ark, Helldivers, etc.), School (not computer sciences if that is important to know), and possibly VR (in the future)

Other details: No Peripherals needed, first build from scratch, buying on sale (probably from Amazon or Newegg).

PC Parts Picker Screen Shot:

Build Total: $1429.56

Notes:

1. NVME would be primarily for gaming. The 3.5in internal hardrive would be used for school purpose

2. I chose the RX 6750 because according to Tom's Hardware it has a better FPS than its NVIDIA counterparts (3070TI) for a cheaper price. I have also been told that NVIDA is better at ray tracing and AMD has better performance in terms of FPS.

3. Cooler Master NR200P Max has built in PSU (Gold 80 and 850 watts more than enough) and a built in AIO (mounted to the top of the case as exhaust, negative pressure case.)

(Edit) 4. Going to buy the MAX from cooler master, but I could only find the standard case PC Parts Picker.

Questions:

1. Am I under spending on the CPU? Should I cut costs in memory in order to choose a better CPU?

2. Is there a better GPU I can buy for the price of the RX 6750?

3. Is it worth trying to squeeze a couple of flim fans in the bottom of the case to act as intake? (The coolermaster case I chose is negative preassure)

4. Is the Western digital drive fast enough for gaming purposes?

5. Can this build support heavy VR gaming?

If this is in the wrong part of the forums or missing any info, sorry.

You're probably over spending. A 12600K or 12700K would be sufficient, or a 13600K (13th gen has faster gaming performance, but the 12th gen CPUs have had big discounts lately).

Not really, the 7600 XT does have more memory, but it has a smaller bus and is overall slower. It does have some features the 6750 XT doesn't have, but eh.

Thanks for the help!

PC Parts Picker does not have the cooler master MAX version available, so I just chose the standard case.

Yes, but I have it factored it into my budget. It comes heavily recommended by many friends, and saves me the hassle of searching for a PSU and cooling options.

it'll be cheaper if you get them seperately (with a better PSU and CPU cooler, as well as a newer case) but if you get the nr200p you'll have to get an itx mobo (more expensive)

I know about the ITX mobo, I need a sff case as I am going to be moving soon & also don't have a lot of desk space. Ty for the part recommendations I will check those out.

the SAMA IM01 is the same size as the nr200p and the nr200p MAX/V2 but it costs much less and fits an matx mobo AND an ATX psu. I'd get that with the b650m-a wifi, the a850gl pcie 5 and then you can add on some fans down the line
