I need help with my cpu.

I have the T7610 with a 1080ti and a xeon e5 cpu. I wanna upgrade to a better cpu for gaming since i play fortnite which is a cpu heavy game. Is it possible that i upgrade to something like the ryzen 5 3600? i have the intel c602 chipset.

You'd have to change your board for anything not Xeon from the era (not sure the chipset name)

Plus upgrade to DDR4 for any Ryzen 1000 to 5000

And not sure your case can hold any non crap OEM Dell board

You'd better change the full rig

Which e5 do you have specifically? Some of these old Xeons have very low clock speeds, so you might be able to buy a CPU that has a higher turbo.
