What are YOUR gaming sins? We all have that one game that everyone says you HAVE to play. whether its Zelda, or fallout 3, or a Gta game, what game have you missed out on? 

 

 

 

 

 

Mine: Super Mario Brothers (1) 1985 

 

     Now I'm 16 so you can see the main problem, but the worst part is, my friend had a nes that we would play on but i never got to play super mario and i do plan on playing it to so im not a completely lost cause :)

I never played zelda or any final fantasy

Mafia 2. Original Mafia is by far the best game i have ever played.

I'd have to say games like Braid and Fez. Super Meat Boy was by far one of the best games I've ever played.

Never beat Super Mario World, The Binding of Isaac, or Super Meat Boy and I haven't ever touched a Zelda game.

Never played any Zelda, Mario or Sonic game. Never really played any game older then 1998, come to think of it

Red Dead Redemption. It never came out on PC so I could never try it out. Maybe if PS3 prices fall I will buy a used one just to try Red Dead and if I'm there I would try some other games as well like Uncharted and Infamous.

i HATED red dead. wasnt worth it.

Uncharted is awesome game. Definitely recommend getting the PS3 even just for it.

+1 It's a shame that RDR isn't available on the PC. I've heard that it's just great!

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I've had a PS2 for 10+ years, but never played any Kingdom Hearts games.  Or Final Fantasy.

 

Never played Zelda either.  Well, I played about 5 minutes worth on the DS.  Doesn't really count, though.

I never could finish Bioshock. Everyone was raving about how good it was but I just couldn't get through it out of sheer boredom. Super linear games can never be as atmospheric as these people suggested it was. I love atmosphere in games, but Bioshock's own was defeated the minute they put it on rails. And OH MY GOD with the AUDIO LOGS already!!!!!!

 

The same feeling I had with Half-Life 2. Though I did, disappointingly, finish it. And Assassin's Creed (did not finish)

 

All of this is weird because when I played Half-Life as a 14 year old I loved it to bits, and same for the very similar Red Faction original. I guess it's a maturity thing.

 

I'm pretty much allergic to linearity I guess.

 

The ONLY first person linear game I've LOVED in 10 years was Dishonoured. But while that is linear in path, it is not linear in method. I love having options, without them, I'm just watching a movie, reciting the steps.
