GoXLR and Astro A50X... will this work?

Just ordered these two items off amazon. Will this work with my Astro A50X? Will I be able to use the built in headset mic? Will there be any shortcomings or degradations with using these items with a GoXLR? I'm kind of confused by this whole resolution and audio stuff, along with seeing issues with 24 bit audio. can someone provide me with the best solution?
