Beelink Mini PC's keep erasing SSD...

mike_wsh

I have been having a strange issue that I can't find much information about. This particular SSD has completely erased itself 3 times. The PC will be running just fine and then it'll restart and go immediately to the BIOS. Windows boot manager is gone, the SSD is just blank. BIOS still recognizes the SSD at it's full volume, however. I have 6 of these Beelink SER6 Max's and 3 of them have done this. I ended up installing a different SSD after this last crash and I guess we'll see what happens.

Beelink Ser6 Max

AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS

Crucial DDR5 32GB

500GB PCIe4.0 M.2 2280 SSD

Radeon 680M Graphics

WiFi 6/BT 5.2/2.5Gbps NIC

Any help would be appreciated. I've reached out to Beelink support and they are not understanding my issue.

Mike

Sounds like they are doing a secure erase of the drive for some reason.

I'd return these asap.
