What GPU should I upgrade to from a 3060 ti with $400-500?

Budget (including currency): $400-500 USD

Country: United States

Looking to upgrade my GPU, trying to keep it around $400-$500.

I don't have a preference towards AMD or Nvidia, I don't really care about ray tracing, and I game at on a 1440p 144hz monitor, I use Windows and will be used for gaming and VR gaming.
I'm open to used and new options, and I am located in the US.

Here is my current build:
CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K
RAM: T-FORCE VULCAN Z 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200
MB: ASUS PRIME Z490-A ATX LGA1200
GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X OC BV - 8GB GDDR6
PSU: EVGA 1000W Modular Power Supply

Thanks!

can get a 7800xt at that price cap, not much for a meaningful upgrade at the price point coming from 3060ti, I mean there are a few and they will technically be faster but only a handful of frames better really, unless your okay with second hand, then your options open up a little more

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

Is the 3060ti not providing enough performance?

Personally, I'd save up until you can afford a 7900 XT or 4070 Ti Super

What games do you play specifically? A 3060ti is still great for 1440p rasterization, so depending on what games you actually play will be whether its work replacing the 10850k instead.
