no, they're about the same, the 3060ti is slightly faster.

I would argue the 6700XT is the better option simply because having 12GB of vram is better than 8GB , 3060ti will win in RT games but the 6700XT is a faster card with traditional rasterized gaming.

I am planning to build a pc and I have decided to pair the MSI RTX 3060ti and Ryzen 7 7700(non-x)

but I am worried that my cpu might bottleneck with this gpu, I intend to do gaming(not too heavy, I will be playing games like Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint, Ground Branch etc.) on 1920x1080p on medium/high settings

In most applications it really shouldn't especially if you have the settings at a decent level. The Ryzen 7 7700 should be more than enough for that GPU in most applications.

sorry if I am going off topic but this combo should be enough for some casual gaming right? like I am not gonna be playing games that require nasa level stats

its perfectly fine, but you always have the chance of running into a bottleneck,  that doesn't mean its not a well balanced system.

so yes, if you want to avoid "any" bottlenecks you'll probably need indeed a NASA super computer, that should handle all current retail games "bottleneck free" with ease. 😉

tldr; you say that, but developers love to put out games that only use 1 or 2 cpu cores, so if you happen to play such a game, the likelihood of some cpu limitations are *high* and since modern cpus are generally very similar in single core performance, even buying a much better cpu probably wouldn't save you from that... hence you can't really do much about it, other than perhaps avoid such games (which i do... im not supporting devs who use these practices, simply)

This should be capable of casual gaming for years to come. It will likely be plenty for your use for the foreseeable future. unless you want to go find yourself a high res monitor, decide that you want to go pro on a game, or play whatever comes to replace Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Cyberpunk (you are good for the current ones) or all those new hard to run high VRAM games that we are starting to see.

and i would argue that's negligible because amd drivers exist 😉

ok, here's a challenge: get the 7600, update us like weekly how it goes 😉

I don't understand your response.

6700XT is a better GPU than a 3060ti to me.

Nvidia drivers exist aswell...
