CNC Controlling a Dewalt DW618

This is kind of outside my realm of expertise but thought id start here.

I have a Probotix v90mk2 CNC router and am using a Dewalt DW618 as the actual router. Wondering if its possible to hand speed control over to the CNC machine instead of the dial on the router itself. Extra curious if i can do it without buying a VFD and using the one built into the router.

It looks like the router uses the N530573 Control Module https://www.ereplacementparts.com/control-module-assy-p-2820521.html#QandA for speed control. Im trying to hunt down a schematic right now but seeing if anyone has input.

Not sure if it would be possible to connect the VFD connection on the Unity CNC controller to the wires for the dewalt module.
