ARGB fans on Motherboard that doesnt have ARGB headers

Hello

I bought the NZXT H6 Flow RGB that includes 3 of their 120mm ARGB fans and i noticed that it required 5V 3 Pin ARGB headers but my motherboard does not have them. I then went to search up about it and found the deepcool SC790, it has PWM + ARGB headers

My question is will the ARGB work with this PWM + ARGB hub if i dont have any ARGB headers on my motherboard because it does get powered by SATA but to control fan speeds i still need to connect it to the motherboard with the included cable according to the manual.

The manual also says that i need to connect the included 3 pin cable to the ARGB header on my motherboard (which i dont have).

If i dont connect the 3 pin cable will it still show RGB on the fans? and would i be able to control the rgb? Or would i have to buy a seperate controller?

And if i do need to buy anything extra please provide links that i can look at

Does these fans have the normal ARGB connector? (the 4pin with one pin "missing)
or if u cant answer this, give us a pic of the fan headers?

They are the fans that come with the H6 Flow RGB, yes the 4 pin with one pin missing (3 pin 5V) as stated on nzxt site: https://support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/articles/19796556693019-NZXT-H6-Series-FAQ

I'm not a pro in ARGBness, but

Pretty sure it won't work, since it will need signal from the motherboard for the ARGB.

What you need is either :
1. A standalone controller (one that doesn't connect to motherboard at all, usually have buttons to cycle factory pre-set color & modes on it.
2. A controller that connects to the motherboard through USB2.0 header, then control the argb through the controller's manufacturer's proprietary software.

3. ARGB to 12v RGB controller/adapter.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

You have a controller with  buttons for changing   the RGB

if u want Software controll u need to buy somthing like

Commander Pro or node pro

Cooler master ARGB v2 controller (or somthing like that)

The picture is the SC790 the manual for it says i have to connect it to an argb controller or to an argb header on a motherboard (i have neither), With the Hub i mean the SC790. i hope this clears your confusion

this controller is a "button" controller

Coolermaster uses open ARGB standard  (no strange prop shit here ) 🙂
