Help need pc but don’t know what to get !!!!!!!

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming like fortnite rust and fifa and a bit of coding

Other details don’t need keyboard and mouse want everything new and best bang for the buck 

Don’t know what’s the best bang for the buck at the moment i need suggestions please !

how scared are you of used-market? because some components could be bought cheaper from it

with napkin calculation, I believe you can getaway with Ryzen 5 5600/5600X, B550 motherboard, and RX 6700/6700XT brand new, thow some dual channel 32GB DDR4 3600MT/s kit there, and get good power supply like Seasonic SII 620W, and cases of your choices, you good to go. If you doesnt want to overclock, using included stock cooler on R5 5600 is more than enough.

and longevity wise, some people could have used like a Ryzen 3600/5600 for like 2 years and upgraded, leaving minimum 8 years of it's life left (all approximate ofc)

I agree, I somehow still running used GTX 1070 for solid 4 years now (Colorful iGame Flame Ares model), and I bought it from a crypto miner, sure is the coil whine is loud, but damn its solid. For 3 year I use it on my primary workstation, and now its running more extreme task, like atleast 6 hour worth of nonstop video transcoding and doing some F@H while its idle, and its still running solid somehow inside my homelab server, with the OC BIOS profile selected. I dont know I just got lucky or it is what it is from used hardware

I see the $ spectrum of second-hand market, 6 years ago, we bought pc which had ~110$ GTX 1050, for 6 years the card served well, ran almost any game I played (I don't play brand new AAA games), recently I upgraded to 1080ti,

 

a card that was 6 years ago the fastest available, and I bought it for less than ~110$,

 

and it's a beast, it starts hitting close temps to critical/uncomfortable for a 10ish year old card if I unlock FPS and play on Ultra or similar demand, but it's still a beast,

 

hell of a buy, average framerate basically doubled, so 150fps -> 300+fps (CPU upgrade helped aswell, but let's not pretend the 1080ti didn't)

You should buy a used workstation and a used GPU.

 

New components at this price point are a terriable value comparitively.

Yeah, those are pretty much mutually exclusive. Get a used Ryzen 3k or 5k system with an RTX or RX 6k GPU and you are golden. I have had used components for almost all my PC usage and have never had anything fail (except those darned HDDs, but that is hard drives for you - and I used them for years before they failed)
