Pokemon Sapphire keeps going Dry

This is the third time i keep replacing the battery, i actually replaced the dead battery boot the game the dry message is gone took out game and rinse and repeat to ensure the message was gone then within the hour it comes back

Are you sure you soldered it on correctly? No shorts?

 

Are the batteries all from the same source? Could be defective batteries.

I think it's figured out but I don't see any shorts I now that it's a small PCB not as complex like a Z590 motherboard cleaned up all the extra solder got it warm and tapped it off, seem that you need to ensure that you A) start a new game to restart the RTC or B) a mod with a DS system or something to use physically reset the RTC if you plan to keep the save date but , got it to work finally but a couple dates ago for that battery message when I thought I fixed it , took it apart checked the voltage 2.9 from a fresh 3.2v now the message is got when I took it apart and it displays the correct time still
