IPS Panel Quality Opinion Request - AOC 24G2SPU.

Alright guys, I'm finally moving on from the cheap, 2005, ASUS monitor, but nothing fancy to start.

I decided to go with an AOC 24G2SPU, since it had glowing reviews and seems to be the best around the price range.

It arrived today and I would like some opinion on IPS glow, blacklight bleed, etc. This is my first IPS monitor, I'm not sure if this is good or bad, so I humbly ask for some opinions.

Minimum brightness, dark room.

Full brightness, dark room.

Next to the AOC is my Dell latitude with a TN panel for comparison.

The grayish-brown on the IPS is much less noticeable in person, it also seems 100% uniform to my eyes.

I doubt I could get a better panel, here's one from an Amazon review on the same monitor:

PS:

Please don't roast me on the cable management, I just took it out of the box and put it up for some testing. (It's killing inside too)

Seems like a normal amount of IPS bleed to me

It look good.

An uneven glow at the corners are usually the most noticeable, bottom right on the amazon one.

Mala noticia mi gente.

Although the panel doesn't have IPS glow, or at least not bad one, it does have a big problem:image.thumb.jpeg.90f3e2bf21c82293ad1c3ff30aa86d12.jpeg

It might not be a conventional dead pixel, but it did make me dead inside.

Returning it this monday.

Thanks for the help anyways!
