XPS 15 for Linux

EmanSza

So I have the XPS 15 9510 and I want to transfer it over to Linux mainly because I am a Software Engineer and daily driving Linux as a OS would be fantastic to learn it. But the XPS has a lot of Engineering behind it, and if anyone has experience I would like to hear it.

My concerns are
1) The Hybrid mode between On Board Graphics, and my 3050. If I switch to Linux would I lose this?
2) How does the XPS 15 handle it? I cant seem to find any "reviews" only installation guides. I know some laptops just don't like Linux.

Well, I don't have XPS, and wasn't in Linux for a long time, but primus or bumblebee are what you need to look for when it comes to hybrids.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.
