?

I see similarly priced M.2 NVMe drive. Which seem better in every way.

(NV2, P3, MP600)

I'm willing to swim against the current.

The Intel SSD is datacenter grade, it has 2 drive writes per day for 5 years or 3.84 TB  ×   2   ×   365 days   ×   5 years = 14000 TBW rating

NV2 4 TB  has 1280 TBW and 3 years warranty ...

Crucial P3 / P3 plus use QLC and are rated for 800 TBW

MP600 uses same QLC but with some custom firmware they rate the lifetime to 900 TB

You only have 2-3 M.2 connectors, maybe someone wants to use one of these as fast NAS storage or as NAS cache (for example have 1-2 of these for every 4-8 12-20 TB mechanical drives) - you don't need low endurance m.2 drives that could also overheat without heatsink for something like this.
