Starfield DLSS Mod

Iv got a zotac 3070 im going to be using the mod, however since its only got dlss 2 technology on the card do i use the dlss 2 dll of techpowerup

I am using this mod at 80% on my 3070 at 3440x1440p it looks noticeably better than FSR2. I would recommend it to anyone.

I dont think it does, either way there is also a mod to enable achivements with mods (though saves dont come up as MODDED like with other Bethesda games)

Has anyone tried this mod with a 2070 super? My gpu utilization drops from ~98% to ~80 and fps drops ~13-14

Not to mention ti seems to actually improve FPS. Where FSR2 almost feels the same on or off. Which is just weird.

I did notice better frame times while playing but didn’t monitor it precisely, it’s good to see its not just me! 
 

This makes the game *just* barely playable within my monitors refresh rate range (48-144) at 3440x1440p using a 3070. Which is baffling lol.

why should it?

 

if you care about achievements you can always just cheat to get them (like most people do i wager)

idk just asking? i don't like cheats, and i've seen basic mods disable achievements in games before, so seemed like a valid question?

edit: i'm also using the game pass version, not steam version, so i don't know how mods effect things on that platform.

Because other Bethesda games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 will disable achievement progression if you modified any game files. Afaik Starfield also does this.
