From what you've seen on videos, who are your favourite LMG on-camera people? (Can't choose Linus or Yvonne)

Edgar R. Zakarian

I hope this thread will be a nice change of pace.

Ranked after who I find most entertaining or vibe with or just like watching etc. it would look like this. (top 5)

Riley Murdock - Very humorous, seems very thorough at work and also feels genuine.

Edzel Yago - Feels like one of the most humble and happiest spirits I've seen. Also seems very good at his job.

image.png.fe48e3de8dc830f19510319a922470b1.png - Anthony changed name to Emily? huh. - Anyway very entertaining to watch, feels like whatever is currently being worked on is getting a lot of internet digging and research.

Sarah Butt - I liked how passionate she was about her very expensive color palettes and was fun watching secret shopper.

Alex Clark - Quirky, funny but generally tends to try to do right and works on interesting projects.

(honourable mention) Dan Besser - Pure troll sometimes during WAN show, I love it.

Luke. I remember the days Linus did the Twitch streams before Luke joined. Does anyone remember Linus congratulating a birthday to someone's father on one of those streams? Weird stuff was happening there before the WAN show...

My fav on camera:

Anthony Emily Young for able to decipher RTX and non-RTX, it's like watching scientist doing a work

Andy Zhang, for providing a cheap WWE grade bed for his employer to . . . break (allegedly) and making union group against his employer for calling 'Stupid Light'

Dennis Liao, for . . . running zombie channel that is 'super fun' (allegedly) and great talking point for his employer about the sponsorship

Luke Skywalker Lafreniere, for his great laugh and love for birds

I actually enjoy Brandon's camera reviews / presentations most, because I like the pacing, his speaking is relatively clear and there's constant pauses to show what he means with footage. Sucks that he isn't doing videos more often, but I can understand he wouldn't be the right person for more fun/quirky videos.

His videos are also quality usually, a pleasure to watch

I always like Sarah's videos, she's funny and I like when she doesn't just read from a prompter. The Pantone video is entertaining but also quite informative and the build a pc video was also fun.

IMHO not a feminist but there seriously needs to be more women in LTT videos, but of course not just as pretty faces / bodies reading from prompter, but actually doing videos about things they're passionate/interested about.

Luke's great on camera, and I also like his more chill vibes, too bad he's now focused more on floatplane.

I think James would actually be great for Short circuit videos and some Techquike videos, he has good diction and good presence on camera.

May also be good at live broadcasts, for on the fly improvisation, I don't know.

David Gauthier  - the camera guy who did the Pwnage mouse could actually be a good on camera person, he's ok in the video, not his fault the video was rushed and done with minimal editing and all that, the plastic on feet is a stupid think most likely one would notice if they wouldn't be rushing so much.

James... he's talented, he knows his stuff, but his humor and everything is a bit much for me, he plays off a bit immature to me, which I don't think it's good for a channel that wants to attract a wide audience.

I'm sorry and probably gonna get flack for this, and I'm not transphobic or anything, but I don't think Emily would be good as presenter. You have to balance lots of things when making decisions..  you'll get points from a small 5-10% minority that will like you including transgender, another small percentange will neither like nor dislike you, and the other people won't stop watching ltt videos if she hosts some videos, but her interests seem to be mostly about older hardware, technical subjects LTT is just not so interested about, it's a nice subject, most people come to ltt for new things, entertaining things.

I don't think she's be a good host due to weight, body shape, not her gender - sad reality is a lot of people are conditioned to see fit bodies as healthy, to aim for and so on, so they won't like her as a host even if she's knowledgeable and good person.  Could work for Shortcircuit style videos where person is behind a desk most of a time but other videos, it's harder.

I know, I'm quite fat in real life, and I can see it... I know me being on camera wouldn't really work even if I had a personality like James or Linus.

Wait, that is not a typo on their staff website?

I notice that she has dyed to blonde hair recently (I forgot to see that at LTX or before LTX video)

I know it's not our business to snoop on people's personal choice, but does she made public announcement or something like that?

Alex, Luke and Brandon(if he had still worked there) is people I would like to see more of.

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.”

This!!! I don't know if this is the "big D#%# energy" Linus was talking about.  But I personally like him better in videos when he's down to earth and focused, instead of eyes popping out of his skull and obnoxious hah. But that's of course very subjective. Of course he's super competent, no doubt.

I like Denise's childish sense of humor, to be honest. He's really good at messing with Linus.

Emily's retro time videos are just AMAZING every time. Turbo Nerd videos were awesome too.

David is really fun too, specially when is something he's passionate about.

There's a bunch of good and fun ones. Recently one who really stood out to me was Dan though. I love his appearances in the house videos. But Luke and Alex are also favorites of mine and Sarah had some really cool appearances as well. All in all I would love if there would generally be more variety in the main channels videos.

It's not that I don't like Linus, but why not have others in the team take on more LTT videos?

I know that she doesn't appear on camera very often, but Jessica as the commenter to Riley or whoever is doing Techlinked/Gamelinked continuously cracks me up.

What I love about the team is it really seems like each member brings something to what they're doing.  It's a lot of really talented people, and that's a big reason I like the channel(s).

Definitely appreciate the effort and research that goes into Emily's videos. I feel comfortable trusting Emily's word - and the banter between Emily and whoever is off-camera is usually top notch so entertaining as well

Alex - Does all the tinkering things that bring out my inner tech teenager
Dan - The fact that he doesn't hesitate to talk back to anyone, including his bosses.
Emily - She does all of the Linux/Mac/retro gaming things that I am curious about, but not able to spend money or time messing with.
