This is the standard way of using multiple displays.

Your performance will be fine.

Doubtful. Unless you are watching streams in discord.

Minimal at best. If you're running a 4K YouTube stream that might have some noticeable impact. But even then, the hardware for decode is generally separate from the parts used for gaming.

and cpu and gpu can handle it without overheating and without both components going to 100%

Its not doing anything its not designed for. Just do it and see for yourself.

Depends on how demanding the game is. In general you want at least you GPU as close to 100% as possible while gaming anyway.

If things get too hot they will throttle and you'd notice by choppy performance.

I can play CP 2077 on one monitor and watch/listen to YouTube on the second, no problem. And my RX 6600 is not exactly a powerhouse. But the frame rate is virtually unaffected.

Specs dont matter much. Even if you lost frames, it wont matter.

I know it should be +90%

fps is important to me, I don't want to play without having less than 60fps

Well I dont know how many you get now. Try it and find out, its quite simple. Doubt you will notice any loss.

If your GPU overheats the PC should just shutdown itself.

I love PC building and gaming.

Your CPU/GPU will throttle if they get too hot. Only if temps continue to increase (unlikely) will it shut down as a last resort. Running a second screen with some desktop app on it is not going to increase temps though.

Screen size has no effect. Resolution does. 4K requires more GPU performance than 1440p, and 1440p requires more performance than 1080p. Doesn't matter if the 4K screen is 10" or 100". It's the same amount of pixels to calculate for the GPU. And even a 4K desktop requires minimal performance compared to a 1080p game.

I mean you got some really cheap thermal paste/pads if they ignite into flames.
