Ryzen 7 7800X3D vs current "issues"

Dejwid

Hey guys

I'm getting the following pc:

AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D
BE QUIET! DARK ROCK PRO 4
MSI SUPRIM X RTX 4090
ASRock X670E Steel Legend
Kingston FURY 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL32 Renegade Silver
MSI MPG A850G PCIe5.0 850W 80 Plus Gold
Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Black

Now the thing is that I read recently a lot of issues with this cpu. I wonder and this is my main question - is it fine to build it with all pieces, and immediately go to bios and upgrade the bios to the newest version, to avoid these over voltage issues etc.? [I do not plan any kind of overclocking on it, that's why I want to go with 850W psu.]

Cheers!

It should be, the SOC voltage limits have been put in place on the latest BIOS revisions from all major board vendors, and default voltage behavior should be just 1V vSOC, plenty safe.
