its on sale, but might be a scam from what I have seen above. Just a reccomendation, get the non X version. There is same performance for gaming and the non X version comes with a cooler. Assuming your gaming.

Saw this when putting a part list together this morning. PCPartPicker was reporting the $149 7600X pricing. That seems to have been corrected now (hopefully not because people bought from this phony seller). G.Skill Flare X5 2x16 DDR5-6000 CL36 was going for $80 this morning from the same seller. Now it's being reported as $60? Seller kunmingshiguanduquqingzhishengfuzhuangdian popped up with a 7700X for $180. People unfamiliar with pricing are likely to fall for this, I hope it gets dealt with soon.

I mean if you get scammed amazon would just refund you most likely, I think it is a scam of some kind because there's no way a current gen product would be so cheap, I almost bought the 5800x3d for $169 until I saw the seller and the really weird shipping times, but who knows someone buy it and let me know if I passed on a killer deal haha.

I bought this cpu from this seller. I was worried about it being a scam as well. However I chatted with Amazon support today and they assured me it was on the up and up. It’s just taking forever to arrive. Estimated arrival of like April 18-March 15.

Well one day after Amazon assured me the seller was a verified legitimate seller, and requesting they contact me, I get this. 
 

Amazon has issued me a refund. They said that if I receive the cpu that I can just keep it. 
 

will keep the post updated about how it goes.
