If you don't have a vendetta against Huawei, their MateBook line is pretty much an attempt to carbon copy a MacBook without getting sued.

HP EliteBook 800 G9 series also come to mind. And the good thing with EliteBooks are longevity with excellent reliability and lots of replaceable components. The 850 G4 I use at work is still going strong on its original battery and HDD even after 5 years. If any of those items break, replacements are plentiful.

No vendetta, but is there actually any real privacy concern?

I do not have any experience with their computers. Honestly, I can only confidently recommend Lenovo Thinkpads, Dell XPS, and Microsoft Surface Laptop products on the Windows side.

There are not many, but they do exist, even tho they might only come close.

The Lenovo Thinkpad Z13 with the base Ryzen 5 6650u and 1920x1200 Display: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-Z13-laptop-review-AMD-s-premium-ThinkPad-with-long-battery-life.639685.0.html

Good Build quality, good Performance (9000+ Multicor ein Cinebench R23) and still 14 hours batterylife in wifi browsing (Notebookcheck script), 16:10, a sensory Touchpad, and even the Ports are similar. Headphone Jack + 2x USB-C with USB4 protocoll, which is basicly Thunderbolt 3.

Attention: The Z13 with 8-Core and 2,8k OLED Screen only lasts half as long.

I really enjoy reading Laptop tests, and i do not know of any other Laptop that manages to deliver this level of Performance + Batterylife.
