Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

I know LTT will eventually explain what happened, but I wonder how YT itself will react

Safety measures to prevent users from falling for scams while the channel waits to get reinstated. The channel being down is a GOOD thing.

RSS feed is showing old videos repopulating on the main channel, though it still says terminated.  Here's hoping that's good news.

Anyone else remember Luke complainining on WAN show about updating passwords, specifically senior management.

Luke has to be suspect number 1 for this, he did it to prove his point.

Corridor indeed got hacked and they explained everything. But that was something with Oresomething (the guys who got Twitter accs etc), right?

 

And yes, youtube was able to get everything rolled back, with minor complications

I sometimes wonder how we went to space on only 4KB RAM, and we cannot fix a simple issue.
