AMD Announces K12 An All new High Performance Microarchitecture.

K12 is an all new high performance ARM CPU core targeted for embedded, server and semicustom spaces.
AMD announced an all new sister core along with K12. One that's x86 based that combines the best of both Puma and Excavator into a new design targeted for high performance client, servers and embedded applications.

Both CPUs are coming in 2016 on the 14nm Globalfoundries/Samsung FinFett process.

So is this supposed to replace bulldozer? or is k12 just an arm core?

probably but only on server stuff this isn't targeted for consumers
