How Much Is A Used 4670k?

Hey forum,

I've got a 4670k and stepping up to a 4770k, mostly because I'm doing a lot more video editing and 3D work than I was planning to do when I originally picked the parts for the rig.

Its been used for a few months now and I havn't exactly been treating it too well. I've been blasting up to 1.37V through it (now @ 1.33V) because it is a terrible overclocker and needs those kinds of voltages for anything above 4.3 GHz.

My question is, how much can I ask for it? I bought it in germany for €195

I'd say you could get a solid 130-140 Euros.

Ask around maybe 75-85% of the current retail price.

I don't think the 3930K can fit the LGA1150 socket.

100€ to 115€

But just going to upgrade for a single feature is not really worth it.

If you really need those extra core so much then i might consider a 8350, but as many others here are saying, save and go for something better. A new mobo and a different platform even.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Relatively sure that the socket size isn't the main problem with the chipset differences, either way...

for 100 € i would buy it.

I don't think you had to think to come up with that conclusion :P

Used 3930K's go for 250-300eur here in belgium and the cheapest x79 is just 150eur in germany http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/ASRock-X79-Extreme4-Intel-X79-So-2011-Quad-Channel-DDR3-ATX-Retail_774557.html

In Canada (and USA), it's much more different. Just go to our country on PCPartPicker and you'll see.
