I bought rx 6650 xt instead of rtx 3060 , should i cancel and get rtx 3060 instead?

in my country the price of rtx 3060 and rx 6650 xt is the same.

 

couple days ago i bought rx 6650 xt because i've seen online that performance is better. ( i am only gonna be gaming ) ( probably not gonna use ray tracing )

 

but now i'm reading on reddit that there is driver issues and black screening and stuff like that with AMD cards! should i be worried , is it true?

 

and should i cancel my order and get rtx 3060 instead?

PLEASE HELP I'M STRESSING!

the current amd backlash is towards the 7000 generation. the 6650 is xt has nothing wrong with it.

You should be fine, as long you're not overclocking or stress testing it all the time. Highly recommend if you have a current GPU in your system, is to use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and uninstall ALL drivers before installing AMD Adrenalin for your new Radeon 6650XT

There isn't a single manufacturer who doesn't release broken drivers from time to time. Especially on new hardware.

If you didn't have issues with Nvidia drivers, that are often worse or comparable to AMD's drivers, why do you think you'll have issues with AMD? because Nvidia fanboys claim AMD drivers are worse?

hearing from people that owned AMD gpu 6000 and 5000 series , they say you always gotta hunt for drivers and there is Driver timeouts and stuff , that scares me not nvidia fanboys.

But nVidia also releases drivers ever month, sometimes more drivers monthly. If you haven't updated drivers, who says you have to do it on AMD too?

honestly if the gpu works good with games like RUST , APEX LEGENDS and FORTNITE i am not gonna cancel my order , but i just can't get a firm answer anywhere!

The drivers are fine, alot better than they used to be. Both companies release bad drivers from time to time, its nothing special or inherant with one company over another. In terms of raw horsepower, the 6600 is alot better than the 3060.

I refuse to read threads whose author does not know how to remove the caps lock!
