i hate summer too. its not 40c here though. can you not get a water chiller or phase cooler?

I love the summer more because it means going out more, it's too cold in the winter to be out.

 

Computer temps are 38 degrees currently, up from 30 in the winter, I have pretty warm ambients despite there being 70-80% cloud cover.

Yup. Im always wanting to go insane. Still live with parents so they of course have the heat on always. It's always 80-90 degrees F in in my room, and sometimes even humid.. I try to turn the air on, and they say nope, we need the heat on... I swear if I have to put up with these little shits that just sit in their own stench and filth anymore I'm going to go mental. 

I got a full on water cooled loop with tons of RADs, I can't be doing this heat on when it's 70 outside. This shit is just insane.

I love summer. It's 25-30°C outside, the nice cars are starting to come out, going to the beach with friends and generally spending time outside with other actual people instead of being stuck in front of the computer.

i have Air Conditioning in every room at my house.

water chillers or phase coolers would solve everything. they would still be under 20c with a good chiller or under 0c with a good phase cooler.

Bugs everyfuckingwhere. Warmth + no aircon = sad Boxoizoi.

yes i hate bugs too. flying ones that bite are annoying.

For going out and about, I prefer summer

For being at home, I prefer winter.

I tend to sleep better when it's cold, although it doesn't really get cold here, just enough to put a jumper and long pants on.

I don't mean to be the cool guy here... but why don't you do some outdoor activities? ^_^ Hang out with your friends... Or, if you live somewhere near a beach, why don't you go to the beach? (or a pool if you're rich)

I hate the summer too. It surprises me how everyone loves it around me. Still couldn't find someone who love cold weather here except myself, lol.

in winter im just going to break out the gtx480 hoover (vacuum cleaner) and in summer switch back to the 7850 (or my 270 by then)

I usually like summer better than winter on the simple fact its less depressing looking outside. Having snow 6-8 months a year annoys me a lot. Although I will still bitch about summer when its too hot, I still like it better :)

 

My soft spot is 22 to 27c.
