Update Orchestrator Service never stops, failed windows update

RageTester

So I have tried to update win 10 PC at work a few times and it just never completes the update. I went and enabled verbose status messages in registry.

Now I see PC gets stuck at stopping Update Orchestrator Service, 30 minutes, hour later still the same, I  am forced to shut computer down via power button even though I know it's bad... As it's office computer I can only troubleshoot on weekends and it's getting rather annoying.

If this was my own PC I would just stop updates completely, but no such luck.

Any ideas?

If you can, have you tried reinstalling Windows?

I am responsible for having backups, but reinstalling, really? I mean computer works, the update part is what fails. Can pause updates for a month, but after that problem is back.

If turning it off and on again didn't work, reinstalling is turning it off and on turbo mode. It fixes most of my Windows issues
