PC not responding when trying playing most games.

When I play almost all games about 5 minutes in my pc will freeze then stop responding. My power button will always stop working when this issue crops up. this issue does not happen when I play Forza horizon 5, but it does with nearly every other game, CSGO, Overwatch, RedDead2 online...

  • Windows 10 home 64bit
  • Asrock B450m Steel legend 
  • AMD r5 3600
  • 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance pro rgb RAM 3200
  • Zotac 1070 mini
  • Adata swordfish 1tb NVME SSD (boot drive, possible issue drive)
  • WD Blue 250gb SATA SSD 
  • WD Caviar blue 2TB storage drive
  • Corsair CX 550m
  • Corsair H100i pro RGB

Frankly speaking I don't have a clue about windows event viewer logs.

But, of the games you listed, namely FH5, Overwatch, RDR2, they definitely need more than 8GB of RAM. I would guess that the OS ran out of page files, so it froze.

you have way too little ram to play games with, that’s probably a good part of it; you need at least 16gb for modern games, 32 is more than enough, 64+ being overkill for gaming

I agree. I have 16GB and have run into multiple situations where it was not enough (I blame my 40odd tabs in Firefox), causing my system to freeze and stutter back to life after a bit, which is why I'll try to upgrade to 32GB soon.
