5600G is slower. Base clock is misleading, because Zen3 CPUs boost all the time to higher than base clocks. 5600 has more cache and it also supports PCIe Gen4.

Budget (including currency): 700 euro

Country: Ireland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly 1080p gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

This will be my first PC and i just want to play some games at 1080p, Mid to High setings hopefully above 60fps. Hoping for christmass sales, just want to know if it is a good build. I live in Ireland so the prices will be a bit more that what PC Part Picker is telling me which is 600$. Help. And thanks.

3600 RAM would help a little, but it's not worth paying too much over 3200.

 

Is 5600G cheaper than 5600? If not get the 5600.

 

The case looks pretty bad, you can find cheap cases that have good airflow.

There is no point in having an APU when he has a dedicated GPU. Unless he is updating the firmware on his motherboard to support 5000 series.

5600g is a worse CPU with an integrated GPU tacked on. Don’t get it. The 5600 is better.
