What's a BecauseI? Is it tasty?

Sometimes, it's better with some mayonnaise though.

I have asked many scholars this one question but none of them seem to have an answer. I have searched for many years speaking with elders of distant tribes and even seeking the help of sages. However you may be the end of my search, the final resting place of my burning curiosity. So I ask of you, is mayonnaise an instrument?
