R9 280x Vs 770

Im building meself a new pc and im wondering if i should get a 280x or a 770?

Specs Are

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

I haven't used a 770 but I have a 280x They are supposed to be pretty much neck to neck. Go for whatever is cheapest.

i kinda want to say the 280x cause you can get 3 free games depending were you get them

but as far as i know they are fairly close, really fir 1080p ultra gaming with some aa

You would be happy with either one, but I personally would choose the 280x.

GTX 770 and R9 280X are very similar in performance, I personally like the R9 280X because of the extra GB of VRAM.

280x should have the neversetlle implemented now so u will gety gold tier rewards. if u want any of those games go r9 10000%

The reason why i went with the 280x is because it has 1GB more of vram and is cheaper (where i live).

Really depends. The 280X was the most targeted mining card so they're pretty expensive here still. If you want Never Settle, AMD for sure. If higher than 1080p, the 280X. Otherwise, whichever is cheaper.
