Can someone recommend a Light weight audio mixer/editor app for beginners/new comers, available on PC ?

Audacity perhaps? I would get the builds that avoid data collection since it is open source but you know that's for users to decide since it is FOSS

hmm, that can be true but though the learning curve on it isn't as hard as professional oriented ones... Juts saying,. though unfortunately I don't know beyond this, would search on it...
