Recent gpu driver update for Nvidia(516.94)

Has anyone been receiving system crashes recently since the 516.94 gpu update after playing intensive games for a few hours where all your peripherals turn off but your pc still is on just curious on peoples thoughts?

No.

Installed on 8/10 on my 5900x computer.

 

You may having a "heat over time" issue. 

It may not be your CPU or GPU but the VRMs on the motherboard so run HWiNFO64 while gaming to see if anything shows up.

Oh strange just seen a few people have been having issues with the latest update on reddit and that’s the same with me and like the update before for them was more stable

Some hardware have issues with some updates.

It is either Windows, GPU drivers or both.

 

It is one of the reasons I have more than one gaming computer.

At the beginning of this week my i9 11900k computer started crashing in a game. The same game with the same save runs fine on the 5900x computer. 

Most likely in a week or two the issue will go away either the a Windows or driver update.

 

Also every time things start to run smooth and trouble free Windows has to update and that usually screws something up on at least one computer. 

2022 has been a bit of a pain in that respect.

Fair enough gonna get it sorted cos it’s crashed like 3 times when I’ve been on games where all peripherals turn off but the pc is still on ands still spinning

You could use DDU and then install the old driver.
