Ipad pro 2018 or Ipad air 4

Hawkraider

Hi

Ipad pro 2018 is being sold for 240$ and Ipad air 4th gen is 270$. Which one should I get?

Pro has better display and faster processor but I am afraid that it might loose software support, I will be using the ipad for 3 years

Thank you
Have a great day

Apple usually bases support off of how fast the processor is. I would always grab the one with the faster processor if you’re concerned about software support.

Neither one of these iPads will be getting the highlighted features of iPadOS 16, Stage Manager and external display support. The 4th Gen Air does have a newer processor and will be supported longer than the Pro. The choice is yours, the software feature set is identical, there are some big hardware differences. Though if it were me, I would not buy an iPad from 2018, 2018 was a long time ago....
