Sennheiser Momentum: On-ear vs Over-ear

Is it worth getting the over ear version? I know people who think the on-ear version sounds a lot better. Is there a big difference in portability too?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Really is just personal preference but i prefer over ear because it seems as though you get a more full range + on ear gives my ears a really bad ache after wearing for awhile

I was never a fan of the momentums, you can get the Focal Spirit Classic for cheap on Massdrop.com which are way better.

Go to a store where you can try them out - pick the one that fits the best.

Okay so I bought the Momentums and they hurt like hell (I wear glasses).

On ear. I exchanged them for the V-Moda XS and could not be happier. Superior comfort, sound quality and lower price.

But the On Ear is cheaper then the XS? Or are you getting the full sized and MOE confused

Nope I got the XS and received $40 back to make up for the price difference

I am talking about the Momentums, because what you are describing is the fullsized, yet you are naming the On Ear.

Then if you got them 300ish you got ripped off hard. Which is grounds to return them in it's own right.
