I need help killing my iphone battery

Hi, i own a 2020 iphone SE. The battery on these phones suck, my battery life fell below %90 in less than a year and knowing its not going to last long instead of conserving it i decided take a diffrent route and kill it before my warranty ends so i can get a free replacment. My warranty ends October 2022 and im currently at %82. For warrenty coverage i need to get below %80. My strat so far has been letting the phone die when at %0, make sure its at %100 most of the time and keeping it plugged in, Run 3dmark tests as much as i can. I was wondering if anyone could help me speed up because i'm starting to get anxcious with only month and a half left. I'm looking for method recommendations and non-stop benchmark recommendations so i can run them through the night

You realize apple only charges 49 bucks for a battery replacement on that phone, right?

 

I would advise instead of being wasteful and using electricity strictly to destroy something, next time let it be what it is, and when the battery is to low to be useful for you, spend a few bucks to get it replaced. Batteries drop off quickly in the beginning, but the time it takes for a phone to naturally go from ~90% to 80% is YEARS. My Xs dropped down to low 90’s within about 2 years, and now I’m at 83%, and I have used my phone a lot more in the more recent years (I got this phone day 1 launch).

 

I understand not wanting to have a battery that doesn’t hold much charge, but this is just wasteful for the sake of being wasteful.

That is a very logical argument and i understand where you're coming from but it being $49 doesnt apply to me as i'm Turkish. For me it is TRY 1.020 that means little over 1/5 of the monthly minumum wage. That is a lot of money for a student who has been applying to pretty much every job listing he can find, not getting any callbacks and living off of his retired parents.

Well, that is an unfortunate situation. I’m sorry the cost of replacement is so high compared to minimum wage.
