Should I replace my Xbox 360's thermal paste?

It has been going strong for approximately 12 years but gets very hot very quickly, but I don't play it much so should I replace or no?

which model is it? thermal paste either way, but depending on model, there may be some other things worth doing while it's open.

It is the slim I think, I doesn't have a top mounted hdd and doesn't look like an Xbox one
