Port selection?

So I'm just finishing putting my new system together, I have two monitors that are connecting via DisplayPort. My RTX 3060 XC (EVGA) has 3 DisplayPort ports and one HDMI. Does it make a difference which monitor goes to which DP? I've never known if there's a primary/secondary/tertiary port order, or if it just doesn't matter?

That's what I figured, I was just curious cause my old build had some bad artifacting after coming out of sleep sometimes, and my PC would forget which monitor was which? And rearrange all the apps to the primary monitor as if the second one didn't exist while it was asleep.
