What options do I have to prevent my case fan from interfering with my CPU power cable?

I want to install a fan on the top of my case but the fan interferes with the Motherboard CPU 8 pin power Connector. 

 

Does anyone have any potential solutions so I can mount my fan without interference?

You can either bend the cable a lot and finesse that fan in there or not use it at all. Looks like a shitty designed case.

It's been a while since I've seen a case so poorly designed that it has the motherboard right up against the top of the case. Usually you see that in those cheap Chinese "Gamer" cases that are meant to just cash in the hype and are generally poor in every regard.

Attach the fan to the CPU cooler instead of the case.

 

 

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
