Looking for Suggestions - New PC Build

Budget (including currency): $1200 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (Overwatch, Apex Legends, Titanfall 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, etc.)

Other details: I'm putting together a new system for a family member and I'm looking for some feedback and suggestions as I haven't been following the latest hardware as closely as I used to. She is currently running pretty old hardware - an AMD FX 8350 and GTX 750 ti. The only thing we're looking to reuse is the power supply as it is the newest part of the system (EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2). Already have peripherals and using a 1080p monitor.

Below is what I was thinking, but feel free to give suggestions or totally different ideas.

Save some cash and get a 12100F, also the 3050 is not great; if you can afford it, grab a 3060ti (NVidia) or RX6600XT (by AMD).

If you can’t afford a better GPU the 3050 isn’t horrible, it’s just not exactly the best especially in terms of performance per dollar. For 1080p it should be just fine, though. A better GPU would be far more futureproof.

This one is SIGNIFICANTLY better for significantly less money.
