Bioshock Infinite Running 1 FRAME a second.

So recently Bioshock went free on epic games
and Whenever i play BioShock infinite it runs smoothly but when i hit a certain area in game the FPS just dies. Now i solved the issue earlier because it did this in the menu. I solved it by closing epic games and relaunching.
ive updated GPU drivers everything

my specs are
I7 8550U
AMD Radeon R5 M435
8Gb ram
The game is using like 300mb of ram

if anyone can help that would be much appreciated thanks

What resolution are you running at? You might be hitting a vram barrier. It did not seem like a very demanding game when I played it in 2015/2016.

300mb of RAM seems very low. Solitaire is known to use more memory than that.

So running 720p res
the gpu has like 2gb of vram
the games minimum vram required is 500mb so i am unsure whether it is a vram issue.

So i fixed the issue. For amd users

just Launch the game with the AMD application similar to Nvidia Geforce experience
it fixed the issue.

That's kind of a weird fix, but I'm glad it worked!
