Gaming Monitor

Can i use my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (GPU) and a AMD freesync monitor. Can I use my NVIDIA Graphics card with a Free-Sync Monitor?

Yes, you can use your GPU with the Free-Sync Monitor. Just might not have all the benefits of Free-Sync.

If i buy a 240 hz freesync monitor do i get 240 hz or what?

The refresh rate won't change. If your GPU can run a game at 240hz, then it will run at 240hz.

As long as the monitor does FreeSync over DisplayPort, as Nvidia gpus won't do variable refresh rate sync over HDMI. I use a 1660 Super on a FreeSync monitor and it's so nice not having to target 60 fps minimums in games anymore, which let's me comfortably play 1440p60 instead of being stuck on 1080p60.
