Hello Everybody, My name is Trevor, i am new to the "forum"  and i need help "advice" with choosing the best video card for my system. i have already bought the "Crosshair V Formula Z" motherboard, "corsair vengence 2x8gb 2133 mhz " memory modules, a "fx 9370 amd cpu", a "rm 850 corsair powersupply", and a "c110 corsair cpu liquid cooler" I also want to make it a "amd" and "Corsair" main build, Later along the line I will upgrade to full water cooling. I am planning to have dual monitors AOC.  Also if you recommend me one, I would greatly apppreciate it if you find it at the lowest price, please reply with a url link. Thanks to anyone if they help me.

AMDs most powerful single GPU card they make. baller card. go reference cooler as they have better compatibility with water blocks. pick this one if you don't plan on doing that.

maybe a 780ti if you can squeeze it in there

 

your psu will be fine for these

im not sure about the AMD cards cause they are much less power efficient

 

an aftermarket 780 like the asus DCU2 overclocks a ton, almost to 780ti performance

It's debatable. Best not fire that topic up here. OP wanted a AMD and Corsair build so keep it to that. Personally i like the cooler on the 780Ti. after market ones look bad to me.

windows 8.2 pro and kali linux

If your budget fits it i'd get a SSD. Super fast boot drive and not that expensive here anyway.

for a dual boot, 120 should be fine

SSD would be 120GB.

For heavy content 1-2TB HDD would suffice.

for amd i recommend r9 280x best price to performance ratio, on the other hand an nvidia gtx 780 is the best choice overall
