Air or water cooing in higher ambient temperatures

Average Meatsack

I am upgrading my gaming rig. The CPU I am going to be using is the Ryzen 5600X with a RTX 3060 GPU (both choices dictated by budgetary constraints) in a Lia Li Lancool II Mesh case. The room where the computer is being used faces west so it gets the full sun in the afternoon/evening. The ambient temperature in the room hits upwards of 30C with a humidity of 80%. Should I be looking at air cooling (Noctua NH-D15S being the prime candidate) or should I be looking at an AIO water cooling solution (Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 or 360 being the prime candidates)?聽

@Average MeatsackDeepcool AK620 is also a cool choice.

But there's one new cooler making waves recently. SilentiumPC Fera 5 Dual. It's of the Arctic Freezer 34 Duo class, but it seems to unexpectedly perform slightly better.

Or even the SilentiumPC Fortis 5 Dual:

u should get your parts 1st, then only decide if u need additional cooling

i'm also at ambient of 30 - 32c, custom loop my r5 3600 & 3070 (see my signature)

cpu average around 40c, only peaks 65c on cinebench 1 hour stress test
