Help with IoT (Internet of Things)

Hello. This is an IoT system that I have created in separate locations to detect temperature and CO2 and ring an alarm when it reached a specific level. What improvements can be suggested? (For example: For security)

Any help would be very greatly appreciated

What purpose do the 3 switches in the middle of the picture serve?

If you're trying to run some sort of link aggregation, that would make sense, but all of the clients are IoT devices which shouldn't be using that much bandwidth to benefit from that which aggregation provides.

If for redundancy, maybe that might be OK. Devices can fail at any point.

Not sure this setup helps too much with security unless you're using managed switches with VLAN support.

How may the IoT system be improved for security, if I may ask?

Also the extra switches in the middle are for redundancy.

Thank you for your response

With managed switches you can set up VLANs to isolate devices or segments of the network. This can limit how clients interact with each other, yet still be able to maintain access to the WAN.
