3 disks into 1

Any way to consolidate 2 500gb and 1 1tb disks into a single 2tb volume? I'd rather have one big drive for my NAS than split files up. (I'd prefer if it could keep files already on the disks. Would a storage spaces pool work? Running Win 7 on the NAS.)

i belive storagespaces wipes the disks.

youd probably need a drive that can function as a cache to hold the data while a pool is being created.

I could use some help with this!

it's possible (of course it will wipe all your data) but you will lose all your data when one HDD fails.

What's the root cause of this?  Why you want one partition?  mounting HDD as ntfs folders isn't an option?

Because I want to mount one disk instead of 3

Create an empty folder inside your share for each drive, then you can assign them as additional mount points in Disk Manager.

 

This tutorial will get you there, but you'll want to click "Add" then "Mount in the following empty NTFS folder" instead of changing the existing letter:
