(95% off) $5.50 200w PSU - HP ATX OEM

da na

Found this 95% off PSU and thought I should share it. These could be good for HTPC, ITX type applications. Of course it's only 200w but that is quite sufficient for lower power systems. It is Amazon Renewed, sold by a 3rd party seller so don't know how reliable it will be of course, likely being used or new old stock

95% off?

That's a 15+ year old used power supply from a prebuilt system released in 2005... The $5.49 you pay is for shipping. The PSU is worthless you're just saving them the cost of disposing it at an ewaste facility.

Ah...

I have a near identical PSU in a SFF system so thought it might be worth recommending, guess not.

I'm sorry but this is not it. You're practically paying to get something that would already become e-waste. Never cheap out on 2 things: Your graphics card if you can, and ESPECIALLY, keyword, ESPECIALLY your power supply.

Turn it off then on again.

That is the point, that's why I specify it's for low power HTPCs

Any real HTPC can play 4K video.  A dual core i3 can play 1080p, and that's about it.

Yeah, for any sort of gaming this wouldn't be ideal, this is more for Intel Atom kinda systems.
