Deleted direcotry.. I need it back

So some of my system deleted i directory that is really important to me and i need it back... Im beginer at linux this is too hard for me and im not even sure if i can do it by myself.

Please help.

What filesystem/

 

If its important, Id send it off to datarecovery and let the pros deal with it, otherwise Id make a image of the drive and try photorec.

If you used the `rm` command its going to a be a bit harder, but if you deleted with a file manager you should be able to access the trash and restore it.

I didn't it's a remote server

Do you know if the server has something like Timeshift or Rsync installed?

I'm a linux noob as well and have no experience using servers at all so can't really give help.
