i have a rat problem

ok i went over amazon, i am seeing 4 options for a new mouse

1. G304(aka rebranded g305 for asia by logitech)40dollars (3.5k rs.)

2. g502 wireless 120 dollars (12k rs)

3. g502 wired (same as g304)

4. g pro wireless 100 dollars (usually 10000rs but because of a sale it is currently at 8995 inr)

if i am a gamer who also uses his machine for productivity, which one should i get and what are the advantages and disadvantages  ?

note, budget is not a problem but i would like to spend less

games i play =

fortnite, minecraft, cod warzone, csgo, valorant, con, rocket league
my current mouse is a leftover logitech m590, which i had for some reason

I would probably go G502 wired for this. It's cheap, lots of buttons for macros in games/work, and it comfortable to use for long gaming sessions. The wire is pretty easy to manage, so spending so much extra on the wireless version doesn't make sense.

G502 is heavy. Wouldn't recommend for competitive shooter games.

 

G304/G305 requires a few mods (AAA to AA battery adapter, using a Lithium AAA battery instead of an Alkaline AA; grip tapes on the side(s) and buttons, better mouse feet (skates), a 3D printed mesh rear cover or no cover at all), but when you do all those it becomes a great FPS mouse. 

 

Get the G Pro X Superlight. You said money isn't a problem.

i would but in india, the gpro x superlight is not availble for any less than 500 dollars, bc of scalpers and innsane taxes on imported goods by the government

Either the 305 or G pro. The 502 is far too heavy.

i have tried these and especially used the g502 for a while as my first mouse and switched soon later to the glorious model o. have you ever considered that? i haven’t considered another mouse and have been using this flawlessly for a few years now. light weight and feel good to grab. haven’t had any complaints with it and is good with every game i’ve played. i would give it a shot and try it and see if it’s worth to keep otherwise just return on amazon

Glorious model O or hyperx pulsefire haste are also good, affordable options.

they are charging 300 dollars in india for it, out of budget

the hyperx is simply not available, and even if it was i would still prefer one of the wireless mice

g304/305

gpro wireless

pls tell me which one is better considering i can afford both, but dont want to overpay, and am transferring over from a m590 which i can both palm and claw grip.

also i am not comfortable with aluminum foil balls or replacing the back of the mouse with a 3d printed cover, (looking at you g304/5)

India has massive tariffs which causes inflated prices, like Brazil.

@Indian pc builder I can also recommend MX518, very similar to G502 but a lighter. I like the grip and it holds up quite well. Got one for a 1 year or so and still looks brand new. Only thing I recommend is not installing G-HUB. You can download a utility for configuring and store the setting on the mouse from logitech, called onboard memory manager.

Not sure what price you'll be able to get it for in India, but got It for 69 USD, later it was on sale for 30 USD and I bought 2 extra, just in case.

just want to add, that i have some big hands, like if i put all my fingers together and kepp my thumg with the resr of my palm, it is about size of an iphone 11/12/13 pro max, with a few millimeters here and there

the g502 with all the weights is great for me, it comes down to what you like...

The G Pro is the best one out of these and would be my choice.

 

The G502 has a very nice shape but is pretty heavy. If you like heavy mice go for this one.
